The Novogene Italian Sequencing Project Awards 2026

Following the fantastic response to last year’s competition, we’re thrilled to bring back the Novogene Sequencing Project Awards, and this time, we’re making it even bigger!

This year, we’re giving four Italy-based researchers the chance to win one of our advanced sequencing packages. And just like last year, winners can now choose their preferred service:

> mRNA-seq with quantification analysis, including gene quantification, differential gene expression (DGE), and enrichment analyses, plus access to NovoMagic, our powerful online platform for flexible reanalysis.

> Shotgun-based metagenomics with bioinformatics analysis, ideal for studying complex microbial communities.

Each winning package includes sequencing for 12 samples with 6 Gb raw data (approx. 20 million reads) per sample along with bioinformatic analysis. Sequencing will be performed on the latest Illumina NovaSeq X Plus!

Last year’s winners impressed us with inspiring projects, and now it’s your turn to showcase your research!
