Novogene 10x Single Cell RNA Sequencing: Project Experience Showcase Series 2
It has always been clear that the Novogene San Jose lab is dedicated to offering comprehensive single cell RNA sequencing services for respected researchers. We aim to assist in decoding the transcriptome profile and immune repertoires, cell-by-cell, in an affordable, cost-effective, and customer-focused manner.
Powered by Next GEM technology from 10x Genomics and staffed by professional technicians and researchers, the Novogene San Jose lab has successfully performed a considerable number of 10x single cell/nuclei RNA sequencing projects on both regular and sophisticated tissue types, thus accumulating valuable project experience. We are now excited to share our project experiences in single nuclei RNA sequencing from frozen mouse brain tissues with you.
Frozen Mouse Brain Tissue Project Experience Up to May 2024
Based on commercial project data up to May 2024, the San Jose lab has received dozens of frozen mouse brain tissue samples shipped from all over the US. Approximately 92% of these samples have passed Novogene’s sample Quality Control (QC) and successfully progressed to library preparation and subsequent sequencing.

The isolated single nuclei meet the Quality Control (QC) criteria after the debris removal process. The nuclei exhibit standard morphology with no debris or clumping. The sample contains a sufficient concentration of nuclei, with an average viability of 0%.
Basic Bioinformatic Analysis Results by Cell Ranger
Based on Cell Ranger analysis, the estimated number of cells is 10,320, aligning closely with the client’s original target of 10,000 cells. A minimum of 50 mg of mouse brain frozen tissue is recommended to ensure an adequate number of target cells.
