Using transcriptomics and untargeted metabolomics alongside functional validation, researchers investigated how CYP3A5 supports glioblastoma stem-cell maintenance and resistance to temozolomide. Their findings linked CYP3A5-mediated regulation of the NAD⁺/NADH balance to enhanced mitochondrial function and DNA damage repair, highlighting a potential therapeutic target.
