Location

We’re excited to be hosting the 2025 Oxford Sequencing Symposium at The Examination Schools, Oxford’s largest city-centre event space. This stunning Grade II listed building was designed by Sir Thomas Jackson and built in the late 1880s to serve as the home of the University’s examinations.

With its beautiful architecture and rich academic heritage, the venue offers a unique and inspiring setting for a day of cutting-edge science and collaboration. Located right in the heart of Oxford, it’s the perfect place to connect with peers, share ideas, and explore the future of genomics.
Getting there

Train - Oxford railway station is approximately a 20 minute walk away or 10 minutes by taxi. Bikes can be hired at the train station or around the city.

Bus - The nearest bus stop and airport bus stops are on the High Street just outside the Examination Schools (Queen’s Lane stop). Information about buses in the city can be found here.

Car– There is no car parking on site so we recommend using the park-and-ride system.

Alternatively, car parks are available across the city. The nearest one is St Clements. See a directory here.
